Randee grew up on a small dairy farm in Ohio, where she spent her childhood surrounded by cows and rabbits. She proudly showed these animals at county, district, state, and national events, forming lifelong friendships in the process. The lessons she learned on the farm have shaped who she is today, and she’s committed to passing that knowledge on to her children. She wants them to appreciate where their food comes from, understand the importance of hard work, prioritize the needs of others (including animals), and care for them as God intended—with plenty of love and treats.
Randee’s passion for education shines through in her choice to homeschool her children. She loves sharing knowledge about animals, gardening, canning, and homebirth, among other topics. With a growing concern about the lack of understanding regarding food sources—like the myth that chocolate milk comes from brown cows—she is driven to teach children and the community about animals and the products they provide.
